The job itself hasn't changed. You still have to know what to build, and how it should feel. What's changed is that almost nothing stands between that judgment and a shipped product anymore.

SafeYum is a food journal you talk to. My kid has a rare food allergy condition. This means that finding safe foods takes months of trial and error, and nobody keeps a journal that's work. So you just say what happened, and SafeYum keeps it structured. The entries add up to answers, like which foods might be behind the bad days, and a report for the allergist.

Yorick is local dictation for the Mac. I talk to my Mac all day, so I obsessed over the feel of it. A little pill sits exactly where your words will land, misses are saved instead of lost, and nothing you say ever leaves the machine. Free and open source.

Each product keeps a living source of truth, with decisions and insights reconciled in as they happen, and every AI session, on every surface, reads it before doing anything. I never re-explain my own products to the tools building them. This page was written that way.
